Missing woman’s fiance charged with murder, solicitation to commit murder
Kelsey Berreth’s fiance has been charged for multiple crimes, including accusations that he robbed her and hired a hitman to kill her, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The 29-year-old missing mother was last seen on Thanksgiving Day entering a supermarket with her daughter, whom she shared with fiance Patrick Frazee.
On Monday, December 31, Frazee – who was arrested amid her disappearance – was formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
Berreth is presumed dead. Just last week the search for her spread to Idaho.
New details about how Frazee may have plotted to rob and murder his wife-to-be are listed in court documents.
KKTV 11 in Colorado first reported that on or about November 22 Frazee allegedly acted alone “or with one or more persons” to commit robbery, which would result in his fiancee’s death.
Court documents stated that “in the course of or in furtherance of that crime, or in the immediate flight therefrom, the death of Kelsey Berreth, a person, other than one of the participants, was cause by anyone.”
Frazee is also accused of influencing another person to murder his fiance between September 1, 2018 and November 1, 2018.
“Patrick Frazee unlawfully and feloniously commanded, induced, entered, or otherwise attempted to persuade another person to commit the felony of murder in the first degree, with intent to promote or facilitate the commission of that crime and under circumstances strongly corroborative of that intent,” court papers stated.
Earlier this month cops raided Frazee’s property and did not find Berreth.
On December 21, a police chief in Colorado on the case revealed, “Sadly, we do not believe she’s alive.”
Berreth’s family is devastated over her disappearance. Her cousin, Jodie Garretson, revealed to Radar that their “biggest fear” of her death may become reality.
Another court hearing regarding Frazee’s charges is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 4.
