Kevin Hart held up by security at Super Bowl for second straight year
Kevin Hart found himself at the centre of another Super Bowl security snag on Sunday after he was prevented from celebrating with the New England Patriots players.
The movie star and his wife Eniko Parrish were among the celebrities at the big game, and when they tried to get past security to congratulate the football stars, they were told they didn’t have the right passes to enter a VIP area at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
In video footage obtained by TMZ, Hart initially thought the security guards were joking, but he eventually realized they were not going to let him into the VIP area and had to send for New England Patriots president Jonathan Kraft, while joking, “I am an MVP!”
“He’s good! He’s good! And his wife,” Kraft told the guards in the video.
The incident comes one year after Hart hit headlines for attempting to crash the stage and join his hometown football team, the Philadelphia Eagles, as they celebrated their victory against the Patriots in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He found himself mixing it up with security staff at that Super Bowl too.
