Angelina Jolie is in talks to star in Disney/Marvel’s movie adaptation of Jack Kirby’s comic book The Eternals.
Director Chloe Zhao reportedly wants the Maleficent star to lead the cast of her movie as a near-immortal being.
The Eternals debuted as a comic in July 1976, according to Deadline.
It is not clear which role Angelina is considering.
Matthew and Ryan Firpo have penned the screenplay for the film.
Meanwhile, Jolie will next be seen in Disney’s Maleficent sequel, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
